SECTION 1. All regular business meetings shall be held on the first Friday of every third month.
SECTION 2. All Executive Board meetings called to do business for the church must be called by the Pastor. The Pastor may authorize the Executive Board to do business for the church if it is impossible for him to be present.
SECTION 3. All Boards, organizations and auxiliaries of the church shall meet at least once a month.
SECTION 4. The church shall observe its anniversary each year on a date set forth by the Pastor and the Executive Board.
SECTION 5. The Pastor of the Executive Board shall recommend to the church any other special days for observance that it deems necessary for the good and welfare of the total fellowship of the church. The Pastor and the Executive Board shall designate those who are to serve as directors and/or leaders for such special occasions.
ARTICLE XII. FINANCE
SECTION 1. The annual budget of the church shall be financed by regular tithes and offerings and by other special financial efforts as determined by the Pastor and the Executive Board.
SECTION 2. An offering shall be received by the Deacons for benevolent purposes. This fund is to be disbursed by the Deacons with the Pastor's approval for the assistance of needy members, persons in distress and the support of worthy causes.
SECTION 3. All Boards, organizations and auxiliaries of the church shall report and relinquish their finances to the General Treasurer/Financial Secretary at each business meeting. The General Treasurer/Financial Secretary shall report to the Board of Trustees all monies received by him/her from the Boards and auxiliaries of the church and shall account to the Board of Trustees for said monies. Said monies shall be immediately deposited in a bank account and full and complete record kept of the Boards and auxiliaries contributing said sums.
ARTICLE XIII. PERPETUITY OF THIS CHURCH
SECTION 1. This church shall forever keep its name, its objectives, and its duties to the Christian doctrine and the principles of righteousness as all regular missionary Baptist churches.
SECTION 2. If conditions or providence warrant a change of location or if the present property is sold, the money shall not be divided among its officers or members for personal gain. The money will be used for the purpose of another church location and organized under the Constitution and By-Laws, and shall be used for the same purposes as at present.
ARTICLE XIV. RULES OF ORDER
The rules contained in Roberts and/or the Roberts manual shall govern the business proceedings of this church in all cases not otherwise provided for in these Constitution and By-Laws. However, we accept the Holy Bible as our spiritual and real guide.
ARTICLE XV. AMENDMENTS
These Constitution and By-Laws may be amended at any regular scheduled or called meeting of the Church by a majority of those present and voting. ARTICLE XVI. THE ORDER OF BUSINESS
The order of business for regularly scheduled meetings of the church shall be as follows:
Devotion Reading of the minutes of the last meeting Correspondence Old or unfinished business New business; such new business to consist of: reports from Boards, organizations and auxiliaries, as well as recommendations. (Recommendations shall not be made unless reviewed and approved by the Pastor and the Executive Board.) Report of the treasurer/financial secretary Report of the clerk Benediction and dismissal
This order may be omitted, altered or changed by recommendation of the moderator of the meeting and the vote of the members present and voting.
